Wahl Family

      We are fantastic! I want to jot down a couple things Lanni had that everyone said was normal, but I had never seen in my life. I just don't want to forget.
     Lanni had a hematoma on her noggin. It was pretty big. Everyone said it was go away on it own. It didn't hurt her, but it was a big bump. It actually took a few weeks before we even knew what it was. The pediatrician didn't even tell us what it was, but they did refer us to a neurosurgeon. What new mom wants to take their 2 week old baby to the neurosurgeon? Not me! And thanks to my sister-in-law Krystin, and her knowledge, we started to put essential oils on the bump. Over a few days we could see it was barely reducing. My mom decided to call my Aunt Tami who just happens to be a midwife. She suggested to get arnica. All you do is crush a tablet, dissolve in water and give it to baby. In 4 days the hematoma was completely GONE!! Amazing. Also, Lanni has an umbilical hernia. Her belly button pokes out really far. I guess this is normal to. The pediatrian says once she starts using her belly muscles more it will go away. It's not gone yet but it is smaller now. So hopefully soon it will heal and go all the way away.
                             Here you can see the bump, or hematoma, on Lanni's head.  Glad it's gone.

    On another note... Travis came home! Travis is Byron's little brother... and Travis is my age! We graduated together! He came home after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Argentina. Since all the Wahl Family was home it was...you guessed it... picture time.
