Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead

Everyone needs to watch the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. It's about a guy that travels and challenges people to do a juice cleanse. It's neat to see the complete body change. It is just really really good. I had watched it a while ago and decided that I was going to do it! Krystin Wahl and I are juicing partners this week! I am really excited to be doing this and to have someone to do it with. We just started today and the rolls on the counter are calling my name. AHH! I WILL be strong. I want to do this. I have a really hard time with self control  when it comes to eating. I love to eat. So this is a major test. But this cleanse will be good for my body....it definitely needs a cleanse. I weighed myself today. We will see the results in a couple of days!

Overload!

My sister, Jessica and brother-in-law, Dave have been getting on my case about my blog. So I am going to try hard to be a faithful blogger.
A lot has happened. I'm not sure where to start so I'll start here- I finished my first semester at BYU-Idaho. In December 2011  my life-time love and I decided we were going to get married! Seriously I have loved Byron for EVER! It definitely is a fairy tale. Someone should make a movie out of our lives. Anyway, Byron came up the day after Christmas and we picked out a ring. Oh ya, my parents moved to Utah.
I LOVE THIS RING! We really scored. BUT, I didn't actually get this ring on my finger until a month later. I might also add that I am not a patient person. Ya, it was hard to wait for this bling to be on my anxious finger. After I got the bling I moved back to Arizona to be with Byron...even though he was gone all time working (to pay for me haha). It was a good move though. I lived with my best friend, Hannah Isaacson's parents! They took good care of me. Thank you Ken and Marian. Byron and I set the date for June 8. It wasn't too long after we set that date that we changed it to April 21. We called the Snowflake, Arizona Temple and got everything scheduled! We had 3 months to get ready, which was actually more than enough time. We started with engagement pictures and announcements. Thank you Krystin Wahl, my sister-in-law, for taking pictures for us!
Here was the final wedding announcement. OH WAIT! I got all caught up in wedding that I forgot to mention...my niece was born! February 2,2012. My little Ground Hog baby! ( Now I will always remember when Ground Hog Day is.)Jess and Dave named her Milana Kaye. She was a whopping 10 1/2 pounds. My sister, Jessica, had her all natural. Ouch! She is the cutest freaking baby! I have been waiting for her ever since Jessica turned 18 and moved out. Mila, Mila Monster, or Poppy is about 2 months and 14 pounds in this picture. Gotta love the eyebrow! She is adorable. She has auburn hair and blue eyes! Such a pretty girl.
Back to the wedding.... we worked on getting stuff all ready for the reception. The Isaacson's threw me the perfect Bridal Shower! It was SO full of laughs. Marian made my favorite foods- Tangy Tomatoe Wraps with Chicken Picante and her Freaking Delish Brownies!YUM! Since my mom lives in Utah, Krystin Wahl and Shelly Finch took me dress shopping! We took a trip to Bridal Fair and picked out lots and lots of beautiful dresses. The third dress I tried on turned out to be THE dress! I was so excited. The idea of getting married seemed more real than ever now that I had the dress. In the midst of all this I think  I discovered a new little addiction I seem to have.... Holly Nelson, my  Young Women's leader and friend, is certified to do eyelash extensions. How could I resist when she offered to do my lashes. All I can say is I LOVE them! There is nothing better beautiful lashes right out of the shower and NO mascara! Thanks Holly! Hmm... and I guess before I knew it it was the week of the wedding. Things were all ready to go. My family came down a couple days before which was really fun. We had our reception Friday night and got married Saturday morning. The reception was perfect! We had a cookie bar because we both love cookies. It turned out better than I ever hoped. Thank you to everyone who helped with that. Our wedding was beautiful! We had so many people there that we love. It was incredible. The sealer, Brother Johnson, said so many great things. He was just a great man. He really fit our personalities, we had laughs and seriousness. He did say one thing to Byron and me that I love. He said, "I can see that you two are best friends, and that's the way it is supposed to be." I love that. We then had the luncheon which Deanne Wahl, my sister-in-law, (can you see I have married into a wonderful family?) got all organized! We had Cafe Rio Burritos which are one of my other favorite things to eat. Byron and I ate yummy food, and visited with family and friends then we were off to our Honeymoon. Destination-Las Vegas, Nevada! Whoo Hoo!

What a blast that was. We got a steal of a deal at the Trump Hotel. They had the best room service. They have these fries that are to die for amazing. We ordered them more than we probably should have. Jess, Dave, and Davi (my sister)  made us this poster ( don't read if offended easily) which was very creative and funny! This is our family's sense of humor... it made me laugh a lot.

They also bought us a Cirque Du Soleil show, Mystere. It was fantastic! We loved Mystere. We were just blown away by the music and talent of the people performing. We went to Wax Museum. It was really neat..and a little creepy how some figures looked so real. Like Angelina, for example, looked real. Byron wanted to kiss her. SMOOCH!

We weren't ready to go home after four days, and Jess and Dave were kind enough to let us stay with them and save some $$$. Byron wanted to go see the Criss Angel show. He loved it...I'm a sketpic. But it was still entertaining. It was time to go home. It was weird to realize that real life had to start again.
So......... now we are all caught up and ready for life and the adventures to begin!
